Team Legacy Manager Training Program

The Team Legacy manager training program is a bootcamp style program designed to support leaders in working through one of the biggest challenges in leadership development: making the jump from individual contributor to an effective leader of others.
In these best practice packed 2 hour online sessions we provide managers with the skills they need to be impactful people developers in their roles. After each module participants are set up in an ally network with 3-4 people to support in the immediate integration of the concepts and tools shared in the session.
The modules in this program can be delivered as stand alone trainings or for best results they layer upon one another for a robust toolkit for new people leaders.

Activating Your Leadership What does it mean to be a leader? If you look on Amazon.com there are over 100,000 different books that will try to give you the answer to that question. The reality is that there isn’t one simple answer. Becoming a leader is a personal exploration, as well as, a personal definition. In this workshop you will explore different leadership styles as inspiration to begin defining and activating your inner leader. Topics We’ll Cover:

Healthy conflict isn’t bad, in fact, it is important. Using the Strength Deployment Inventory™ leaders will come to understand their conflict style and come to see how others respond to conflict. Taking A Coach Approach Leaders need to wear many hats. The coach hat is one of them. Taking a coach approach to leadership encourages leadership at every level of the organization. Individuals are given the space to find their own solutions and think for themselves. This frees up capacity and time and most importantly builds trust. In this workshop you will learn the 5 Core Coaching Skills that you will be able to implement into your leadership right away. Topics We’ll Cover:
| Strategic Thinking + Goal Setting One of the biggest mindset shifts from individual contributor to leader is moving from tactical thinking to strategic thinking. Although strategic thinking may not be developed in everyone it is a skill that can be built. This workshop layers really well with the Taking A Coach Approach workshop as we shift the focus from me, to team, to organization.
